$400M being poured into Delray right now, and I don't think enough people realize how big this is

Just trying to explain everything that’s happening at once:

  • Brand new water treatment plant ($160M) just broke ground
  • Another round of beach nourishment ($19.2M) is underway right now. 2.65 miles of shoreline getting sand pumped back in.
  • A1A is getting a facelift: drainage, crosswalks, bike lanes, the works.
  • That old Office Depot spot on Congress? 327 apartments going in. Opening 2027.
  • Plus the new police station and Catherine Strong Park renovations from those bonds we voted on.

Delray was the "quiet one" between Boca and West Palm. That ship has sailed lol. But honestly it's nice to see the city reinvesting instead of just letting things fall apart like some places do. We put this together, check it for the details. LINK
