I'm an artist and I was thinking of creating a video that is very anti war. I want it to show the brutal truth of war as well as why people should care more about the current events of the world.
The video's going to be set to the song "In the Navy" by Village People, because I feel it's a very catchy song and very sarcastic in its meaning.
The video will cut between a LOT of photos and footage of wars, movies about war, photos of war, topics surrounding war, current news, etc.
I want the video to start seemingly supportive of war then slowly transition to how terrible it is, then to what's happening currently. It's hard to describe but I have a specific timeline of how I want it to be.
Anyway, just getting the basic stuff out of the way, I was wondering after I make this video what would I do with it?
Collecting all the footage + images and adding them to the video will take A WHILE (a lot of editing).
I don't want the video to be for nothing. I want a lot of people to see it. I want it to be important.
The video will definitely be graphic, due to war imagery, violence, gore, many triggering things.
do I just make fake accounts and post them places and see how long they last? upload it to shock sites? do I need to know people so they can upload it for me? I really have no clue how I'd go about doing it.
This might seem like a stretch too but should I remain anonymous when trying to do this? I just don't want to be in the position where it gets a lot of attention and suddenly I'm getting flamed.
This is kind of a weird situation, but I hope this is at least understandable. I've only started making the video so things can quickly change. Just wanted to know what people think about this.
Also if you guys have suggestions of topics to put into the video as well then I'd gladly accept them.
Thanks :)
