Advice- Should I reschedule trip?

I'm traveling to Ft. Lauderdale for a long weekend and thunderstorms are in forecast this weekend (>50%). Should I cancel trip? I have until 6pm tonight to change hotel reservation. My plan was to plop my behind on a beach and/or pool all weekend.
