Best beach for a single day?

I'm going to be in the area camping soon, and will likely only have a day for the nature. I've never been to WPB before, and I was thinking of hitting one of the state parks and the beach. Where should I go? Is there anything that is must-see if I only have a day?

Do any of the beaches rent paddle boards or kayaks, or do you have to bring your own?
