Broward Health & Florida Blue

I had my last appointment with my primary today.

I don't know how many of you are affected by their contract dispute that will leave those of us with Florida Blue out of network on July 1.

It is absolutely heartbreaking, especially when I have had the finest care ever in my life.

I cried my eyes out like a baby. She said this happened before with Cigna, and it took 8 months past the deadline to come to terms. So it's not necessarily goodbye.

But to be sure I was ok, she gave me a name of someone she wants me to go to so I will be in good hands.

I live in Weston and this Dr is at Cleveland. Ugh. Just the thought.

However, I'm absolutely grateful and have a meet & greet appointment on Thursday.

I hope anyone else in this situation is ok as well.
