Dentist that doesn't push deep cleaning

Title self explanatory, but I'm looking for a dentist -preferably near Oakland park area, that doesn't push deep cleanings on all patients. I had a negative experience before moving here with a dentist who refused to do regular cleanings until i deep a deep cleaning not covered by insurance. I had zero cavities, no gingivitis, only minor pockets on my rear molars and had just had a cleaning 6 months prior. I recognize the need for it if medically necessary, but they had previously requested i get the deep cleaning, which I did, they then cancelled all my routine cleanings until I was overdue then pushed for another deep cleaning. This just screams scam to me. I was held hostage, belittled, guilted, you name it pushed to use care credit, finance the deep cleaning, etc.. and they refused to let me leave the clinic until i scheduled another deep cleaning.

Looking for a dentist that won't do that here, but i keep reading reviews where it seems like this is becoming an industry wide issue and unavoidable.

Does anyone know of any dentist in the area? Willing to go outside if oakland park for the right service provider. Humana dental and blue cross/ blue shield insurance.
