Forklift Op & Recessed Pallets

Has anyone ever needed to forklift a heavy load directly onto a pallet? It might sound simple but the operation requires me to slide the forklift tines out once the load is set down. I was hoping to find a pallet with engineered recesses to allow for that offload and removal of the tines but I haven’t found anything like this. Any suggestions?
