Hi everyone, I’m a 30-year-old woman and I’m honestly tired of dating straight women — it’s been frustrating and emotionally draining, so I’ve decided I don’t want to do it anymore.

The hard part is that it’s been really difficult for me to meet single lesbian women. I see lots of gay men everywhere, but not many lesbian women my age or older.

I moved from Dubai, and surprisingly, I found that the lesbian community there felt bigger and more connected than what I’ve experienced in the U.S. I lived in Chicago for 3 months and Los Angeles for 8, and still didn’t get the chance to meet any single lesbians.

Now that I’ve moved to Fort Lauderdale, I’m hoping to finally change that. I’d love to make some lesbian friends here — whether it’s for friendship, support, or just building community.
