Long-shot chance anyone here can recommend someone to watch my father's cat in Boca for 6 weeks while he's away up north. Senior cat with health issues- takes meds, really prefer a vet tech or animal shelter experience to stay at his apartment to care for the cat

I did find a needle in a haystack on Rover but she declined because he was outside her 3-mile radius by 4 miles 🙄. Even tried offering a travel fee but didn't hear back. Most of Rover are people that board TEN animals in their own houses and don't have much time to "house sit" other animals properly. My vet didn't have any referrals either. Checked a couple other Rover like sites with no results.

My father usually flies back and forth with her approx every six months. This year he stayed much longer and only plans on going to his house up north for 6 weeks then come back. His cat really has started hating the flying even with a direct flight, it's just too much for her. I have a dog that loves everyone but my father's cat is too old to be bothered with him. When we tried to introduce them she just spits at him- so I can't do it (but I will be available for any problems/emergencies)
