Hey SoFla fam! After 4 years in Jupiter, heading to Charlotte next month for work. Going to miss the beaches and that laid-back Jupiter vibe.
Looking for moving company recommendations, preferably Jupiter movers who know the area well. My current place has some tricky parking and I need someone familiar with local logistics.
Got quotes ranging from $4,800 to $7,200 for the same move. The cheaper ones seem sketchy - one company couldn't even find my street when I gave them the address.
What I need:
Long-distance experience (Jupiter to NC)
Professional packing (have some artwork and electronics)
Licensed/insured (obviously)
Good communication throughout the process
Anyone used reliable Jupiter movers for interstate moves? Or should I look at larger South Florida companies instead?
Also wondering about timing - is there a better month to move to avoid summer heat affecting my stuff during transport?
Really want to avoid horror stories I've heard from friends. Would rather pay extra for peace of mind than deal with damaged or missing belongings.
Thanks for any recommendations! Going to miss this amazing community.
