Hi everyone,
I’m currently exploring Montessori school options in South Florida for my daughters and would love some parent insight.
We’re planning to relocate to South Florida at the end of the 2025–2026 school year to be closer to family, as I currently don’t have a support system where we live. This August (2025), my girls will begin their final year in a Montessori primary program, and they’ll be entering Lower Elementary in the 2026–2027 school year.
I’m looking for a school that follows the Montessori method with fidelity and supports a smooth, child-centered Lower Elementary transition. I’ve narrowed our search to the following schools and would love to hear from parents with direct experience:
• Montessori Institute of Broward (Davie) • South Florida Montessori Academy (Tamarac) • Summit Questa Montessori School (Davie/Fort Lauderdale)If your child has attended or is currently enrolled in any of these schools, I’d truly appreciate hearing about your experience. What stood out to you? Would you recommend the school? Anything you wish you knew beforehand?
Thanks so much for your help—your insights mean a lot!
