Solo Fort Lauderdale vacation

So I'm checking off options on where to go in February 2026 and where not to :)
Cancun is checked off as well i think Arizona. I have been to Miami (south beach), Fort Myers (2012 or so) and been to Punta Gorda area many times.
I am looking at Fort Lauderdale now.
I am looking to tan, check out the ladies, walk around and people watch, shop around etc etc. Someone mentioned Lauderdale By the Sea. Any opinions on that? I will not be driving. 3 night 4 day trip.

Anyone have any suggestions where to stay?
