Those who moved to lauderdale from Canada, how do you like it?

I’ve visited lauderdale more so Boca and I fell in love. Im f22 and I ’d love to move there one day in the future but I’m from Canada and my issue would be getting a visa and a job there. Give me advice pls how do you like living there, are things changing for the better or worse? Whenever I ask this question I always get biased responses that the US is so bad but Canada is just as bad. Obviously this wouldn’t be an immediate move as I’d have to finish university but what would people say for costs of living, jobs, the type of people?
