February
The unemployment rate increased to 3.5% in February. 6,355 positions were lost, and 6,123 workers left the labor force causing the unemployment rate increase. The overall Nonfarm Payrolls figure did not change significantly. No individual sector saw significant employment changes.
March (preliminary)
The unemployment rate fell to 3.3% in March. 3,367 positions were added, with only 1,016 workers entering the labor force causing the unemployment rate decrease. The overall Nonfarm Payrolls figure did not change significantly. No individual sector saw significant employment changes.
