The unemployment rate fell to 3.3% in March. 3,155 positions were added, with only 761 workers entering the labor force causing the unemployment rate decrease. The overall Nonfarm Payrolls figure did not change significantly. No individual sector saw significant employment changes.
April (preliminary)
The unemployment rate fell to 3.2% in April. 175 positions were lost, but 326 workers exiting the labor force caused the unemployment rate to decrease. The overall Nonfarm Payrolls figure did not change significantly. No individual sector saw significant employment changes.
