Where to live in Boca Raton?

Hello,

We are looking for apartment complexes in Boca Raton. Looking to rent. We want to be near a beach and by near I mean nothing more than a 30 min drive away. We definitely want to be as close to the beach as we can within our budget range. Must be a safe area (low crime), not in the middle of nowhere (ie things to do, near shopping centers and restaurants, not too expensive) We are coming from NYC so we are used to expensive but I mean we’re looking for a 2 bedroom within the range of $2,000-3,000 a month. Obviously if cheaper but I know in this economy that’s not likely lol. We just don’t know the area well. We are moving down there to be closer to my mom who is ill.

Can you let us know which area of Boca suits our needs and if you know any apartment complexes for us to check out that would be helpful too. Thanks!
