Anyone else angry about MetroConnect getting cut?

My mom uses MetroConnect a lot and I don’t know what we’re going to do if it gets eliminated. I went to one of the mayor's budget meetings last week. Idk what the other meetings were like, but it seems like there’s enough people who are angry about the service getting cut that she brought her transportation guy and kept referring people to him.

I’m not sure if the Mayor is going to do anything. I got an email from MetroConnect saying that the commissioners decide what they want to change about the budget on August 20th and it seems like they have more power. Apparently you can give public comment there. It’s at 9:30am which seems like they did on purpose so no one can show up. I’m not sure if I can take off work, but showing up seems better than spamming their email. I also plan to spam their email.

Is anyone planning on going?
