[App] Trackless Links - Safari Extension to clean URLs, block trackers & more (Was $19.99 -> FREE)

Hey r/AppHookup, I'm the dev behind Trackless Links.

This app is the definition of a "scratch your own itch" project. It started because I was tired of messy, tracked URLs. I built a rough prototype for myself, and after a few months of feature creep, I had something powerful but incredibly ugly. I showed it to some friends who actually wanted it, so I spent the last couple of months rebuilding the entire UI in SwiftUI to make it something I was proud to share.

It's a toolkit for taking back some control over Safari. Here’s what it does:

  • Tracking Filters: Automatically removes tracking parameters like utm_ and fbclid from URLs. You can also add your own custom filters.
  • Custom Redirects: This is the power-user feature. You can create your own rules (with regex support!) to do things like automatically force old.reddit.com or redirect YouTube links to privacy-friendly frontends.
  • Web Archive Integration: This one is my favorite. It adds a one-click option to look up any link on the Wayback Machine or Archive.is. It's a game-changer for finding old versions of articles or getting around some soft paywalls.
  • Browser Tweaks: A collection of fixes for common web annoyances, like re-enabling text selection on sites that block it or disabling those "Are you sure you want to leave?" dialogs.

To celebrate the launch, I'm making it completely free until the end of Monday (Pacific time) (it will be a $19.99 one-time purchase after).

If you like the app, a review on the App Store would mean the world to me. Of course, any feedback here in the comments is also hugely appreciated. Thanks for checking it out!
