Driving in Miami-daily adventures

2 weeks ago 8

The mental gymnastics required to navigate Miami roads are truly Olympic-level baffling. Turn signals? Oh, honey, those are just fancy blinky lights for tourists and people who believe in traffic fairies. I literally saw someone carve through the Krome median, past 7-8 cars, just to ram their way to the front – a move so audacious it deserves its own reality TV show. And don't even get me started on the black BMWs; they live by the motto, 'My lane is wherever I decide it is, right now, for absolutely no reason other than pure vehicular ego.' But my personal favorite is the daily, choreographed ballet of 5-7 cars on Kendall/Krome, turning left on a straight-only green light like it's a secret handshake to Narnia. It's not just bad driving; it's a complete, unhinged rejection of physics, traffic laws, and any semblance of shared reality. My therapist is getting rich off my road rage, and honestly, so is my horn manufacturer.
