It's a Squier Classic Vibe 70s J-Bass. I come from piano and did some guitar on the side but i've been wanting to get a bass for some time now...
Got it 2 days ago, followed through some free beginner courses on youtube like bassbuzz (been binging this channel for weeks) and i think so far that the bass is a pretty intuitive instrument, figured out pretty quickly some common scales and i experienced the joy of (very messily) playing around some backing tracks (even if my fingers hurt x)
Just wanted to share there's a new (aspiring) bassist in town, and this sub's posts and FAQ helped me greatly figure out what to choose for gear and what to expect about bass.
