Have $1000 , What's the Smartest Move to Actually Grow It?

I’ve managed to save up a $1000 in cash and I don’t want it just sitting around. I’d like to actually use it to start something small, learn along the way, and hopefully grow it into something bigger.

Would you put it into a side hustle, a skill, or just tools to get more done?

I’ve even been messing around with a little Chrome extension idea to cut out repetitive stuff, but curious what others would do with the same starting point.
