I can't bear POWER 96 "mornings" any more ...

as a Miami boy, born and raised, I have been listening to the station literally forevermore since I was a jit in the early 90's.

DJ Laz and Lucy Lopez held it down for years! then after Laz departure I believe they teamed up DJ Zog with Lucy and the morning shows still fire!

However it's been a few years since Lucy left, and they teamed up Zog with "Ivy unleashed"...

I swear on my life that girl's voice and personality are unbearable - I can't be the only one that feels the same way and finds her annoying, a try hard, fake and finds ways to make things about herself, thinks the show is about her and/or hers - at the same time in my opinion DJ Zog has been bogged down some from his full potential and nowadays sounds somewhat commercialized.

There is no excitement in the morning show for years now even though Zog is solid. Ivy is just very terrible man. Maybe give the morning to afternoon host Johanna Gomez? which is so sweet on the ears and a whole different vibe!

Been hearing 97.3 with Jade Alexander for years now - this morning mistakenly my FM auto'd on 96.5 and Ivy was happening to be talking gibberish, gave her a chance and then I remembered why I have shy'd away from the being a loyal listener to the station. Ivy still sucks at her job, I am sure others feel the same way.

Lucy used to kill it man, the energy, the flow, she was right on. Nonetheless Miami's Party Station will always live inside of my soul and I will come back to listening once some circumstances change.
