I started cooking all my meals at home a month ago and I can’t believe how much money I was wasting

It hit me today while making lunch, I used to spend $12 a day on takeout without even thinking. That’s over $300 a month, just because I was too lazy to boil rice.

Now I make everything myself. It’s not fancy, but it feels good. There’s something peaceful about cooking your own food and realizing you’re not broke by Wednesday anymore.

The crazy part? The food actually tastes better when it’s paid for with effort, not convenience.
