I’m born and raised in Texas, but like a lot of people here have family ties to South Florida that’ve kept me visiting for months out of each year my entire life.
My favorite memory from childhood visits was my dad taking me to Laurenzo’s Italian food market with him every week. We would always load up on fresh pasta and rainbow cookies and pig out.
In 2020 I officially moved to South Florida, and not to long after discovered it closed down. This devastated me. Not just because of the food, but its nostalgic impact and memories I still cherish with it.
All that to ask, are there any other authentic Italian food markets that have the same neighborhood presence like Laurenzo’s they would recommend?
