Mom & pop coffee shops to sit and do school work?

Hi there! I'm looking for mom & pop coffee shops I can sit and do school work at for 4-5 hours a day from time to time. I just moved from New Orleans and we had so many options and most of what I can find here is just Starbucks, but I'd rather support local businesses.

I'm willing to drive anywhere in the city!
