Pickleball Nightmare

I’d love the opinions of my fellow Miamians.

What would you do if, about a few months ago, you learned that all the construction your next-door neighbor was doing in his backyard was for a pickleball court that is adjacent to your shared property line?

Moreover, this neighbor installed a very tall tennis court light, about 25 feet tall, that illuminates about 8 feet onto your property at night.

Moreover, your main bedroom, where you sleep, is right next to said pickleball court and light, as is your 7-year-old neurodivergent son’s room. The light illuminates into both bedrooms. Thankfully, we have blackout shades, but some of the light gets through.

And lastly, you learned that your neighbor is renting out this court on social media, so there’s more or less a constant stream of pickleball noise in the mornings and nights.

What would you do?

Also, I fucking hate the constant “pop pop pop” of pickleball. I also hate the name pickleball. If you play this whiffle tennis crap, yes, I think less of you.
