I’ve always just assumed that bridge operators are the lowest form a life. Bad people, born from bad parents, who wake up gleefully every day exited to piss off as many drivers as possible. These people just have a deep rooted disdain for their fellow Miami citizen. At least this is what it feels like.
Why? Because every time y’all open the bridge, you wait 3-10 minutes after the last boat has passed before closing it. And once it’s closed, you wait another 3-10 minutes before pulling up the barriers.
So I ask this one time. Is there some policy that you must leave the bridge up far longer than it needs to be? Is it standard operating procedure to make us all wait an extra 5 minutes after the bridge is fully down before opening the road back up? Or are you all just assholes? I’m leaning towards Occam’s Razor here, but willing to be swayed if any of you are here and want to defend yourselves.
