Walking to Wynwood from Edgewater

Hi, just moved to Edgewater. I live right next to Margaret Pace park. Has anybody tried walking to Wynwood from here? I see it’s pretty close. Is it safe? How long did it take you if you have? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
