The guy describes Miami as "walking urbanism for the rich and commuting for the masses". Other cities on this list have low housing costs, but because they require a car and have generally poor paying jobs, are relatively expensive.

To be fair, I think most walking neighborhoods command a premium everywhere now. Everyone hates driving.
