Water pollution in Miami Beach, don't swim unless you check the tests for the beach, as so many Miami Beach testing sites are testing too high for enterococcus (feces pollution)

TLDR - Don't swim in the water, so many Miami Beach testing sites are testing too high for enterococcus (feces pollution)

We have the September 5 Surfrider Foundation Miami Chapter Blue Water Task Force water testing results here and they are terrible. You can sign up for water pollution alerts here:

https://miami.surfrider.org/programs/blue-water-task-force

All kayak launches are polluted including Park View island, Sunset Harbor, Pinetree park.

Polluted beaches including 53rd Street in Mid Beach and South Pointe Park in South Beach.

73rd Street in North Beach is testing fine but I would suggest wearing earplugs if you choose to swim. You can easily get ear infections from polluted water.

I believe that the pollution is coming from Miami Beach's leaking sewage pumps and processors.
