Not to look a proverbial gift horse in the mouth, but what's the worst kitchen or cooking oriented present you have ever received?
Mine was a cookbook authored by a famous sportsman in my country. The cookbook was sponsored by a ingredient (spice, herbs and sauces) company and the whole thing was clearly just a way to promote the use of their products. Even dishes that didn't need any of their products just had them randomly added in to make sure that every dish 'needed' their products, even if it didn't make any sense.
The book sits in my collection of real cookbooks and gets brought out for a laugh every now and then.
